Report Cards Term 2

Hello Parents;

To all of you who were able to join either Wednesday or Thursday evening last week, thank you for coming out. It was good to see each of you and to discuss the progress your children are making in school. The second term report cards will be going home on Thursday, March 19.

The Brant Christian School Society held their monthly board meeting last Tuesday. Our board is committed to growing and strengthening Brant Christian. They have now set up a search committee to locate land somewhere in the High River - Okotoks area upon which to build a new school. We are searching for a 7 - 10 acre parcel of land. If you know of anyone who would be willing to sell land in that area and of that size please contact myself at school and I will put you in touch with someone from the search committee. Please be in prayer for the future growth of our school. Our desire is that Brant Christian would have an even greater impact in the areas that we presently serve. We are also looking for men and women who would be able to meet for prayer on a weekly basis to lift up Brant and to pray for God's continued blessing on our school. The prayer group meets at the Full Gospel Church in High River. Please contact the school for more information.

On Thursday, March 12 our students in grade 5 -12 spent the day in Rosebud at the theatre. It is a one and a half hour bus ride there. We watched the play, "Treasure Island." Lunch was provided for us and we arrived back at school shortly after 3 PM. The intent  of the trip was to show students that a good drama production can be staged with minimal props and a small acting corps. We hope to increase our drama time at Brant allowing more students to get involved in performing.

Our last school day before the Easter break is Thursday, April 2. Our first day back will be Monday, April 13.
