It’s harvest time and God has once again blessed Brant Christian School with a harvest of beautifully healthy fresh vegetables from Mr. Kroeker’s garden!
Veggie Tales We will draw a winner for this amazing harvest in time for Thanksgiving this year…to qualify, you must have purchased tickets to the auction by Oct 9th. With the purchase of a ticket, you will automatically be entered in the draw. These organic vegetables can be picked up from the school Thursday, Oct 10th (Approx 125lbs Value: $334)
Brant Auction Speaking of the auction, have you purchased your ticket yet!?! If not, do so quickly, as you don’t want to miss out. This year’s theme is Mexican Fiesta, so dress up and come out for an evening of fun, fiesta and fundraising. Find all the details HERE.
Apple Fundraiser The last day for putting in orders for our apple fundraiser is Monday, October 7th Prizes!!! The student who secures the most orders wins a $50 credit toward Brant Swag. The class with the highest sales (per person ratio) wins a Pizza Party Lunch -Currently the class with the highest sales is Grade 1/2!

Brant School Community Buy and Sell We now have a private Buy and Sell page on Facebook, just for the BCS community! Search “Brant Christian School Community Buy & Sell” and request to join. Here you can post personal items for sale, post what you’re looking for or pick up the perfect second-hand treasure from another person in the BCS community. Feel free to then invite other BCS families to the group. Just remember: No small business posts please! (If you have any questions, please reach out to our Parent Engagement Group)
Hot Lunch Hot lunch orders for October are closed. November orders will open up on October 18th, deadline to order for November will be October 31st.
Volleyball Update In league play, our senior boys had a strong showing this week winning both their games. They will be competing in a tournament at Holy Cross Collegiate, in Strathmore, this weekend. Our JV Boys ran into some stiff competition, bowing out to Strathcona Tweedsmuir and Notre Dame Collegiate. However, they are showing strong improvement as they head toward the upcoming playoffs. The JV girls split their games, defeating Edison, but losing to Foothills Composite. Our Junior A Boys and Girls had a bye from league play this week but the girls will be in action this weekend as they compete in the Prairie Christian Academy tournament in Three Hills. Good luck girls! The Triple Ball girls have been hard at work honing their skills as they get ready for their first league game that takes place in two weeks. Go Eagles Go!

Flipgive FlipGive is an app that you can use to raise money for Brant Christian without spending extra money or with extra hassle. All you do is download the app and scan the app for each purchase you make at a participating vendor. The vendors reimburse FlipGive a portion of the purchase amount; Flipgive takes a small percentage of that and then passes the rest of that reimbursement to Brant Christian School. It is easy and, best of all, there is no extra money coming out of your pocket! If you have any questions or need help, reach out to our Fundraising Committee.
Write-On Bulletin Board Parents, want to brag on/encourage your kids? We have a way to do that! We have a "Write On" bulletin board at school in the main hallway where our student's achievements can be posted and celebrated! Simply send a note with an article or photo to Cathy Massey, who will print it and post it on the board. Simple as that!
