Week of Field Trips

Hello Parents;

This coming week is filled with our students traveling. On Tuesday our grade 3/4 class is off to the Glenbow Museum. I think for many of them, riding the C train into the city will be a highlight.On Wednesday all students from grade 5 - 12 will be travelling to Barons to participate in a softball tournament put on by the Barons school. This event has now become an annual event and certainly one of the fun highlights of the year. Then on Friday our school will be empty of students. For students in K - 6 they will be at Heritage Park and our older students (7 - 12) will be at Calaway Park. Bus pick-up will start at the Full Gospel Church in High River and meet up at the Aldersyde Petro- Canada where all the Okotoks students will be gathering. Please note that there is no regular bus service this Friday, June 21. Parents will need to drop off students either at the Full Gospel Church or the Aldersyde Petro Canada.

Congratulations to our grade 12 students who celebrated their graduation on Friday night with a banquet and formal ceremony at the High River Baptist Church. And to all the grad parents; well done. that's 18 years of a lot of work and prayer. You should be very proud of your sons and daughters.

This Tuesday is our band instrument rental night. For all students who will be taking band at Brant Christian for the first time next year, you need to be at this meeting. It is being held at the High River Baptist Church and starts at 7:00 PM

Please try to attend our closing ceremonies that are being held on the last day of school, June 27. This is where we have our grade promotion for the students and a bbq for everyone in attendance.
